Aaron Cargain joined Van De Poel, Levy & Allen, LLP as an associate in 2011, and participates in all aspects of civil litigation with a focus on personal injury, professional liability, and construction law. He is licensed to practice law in California and New York.
Aaron attended the Rutgers School of Law, Camden, New Jersey. While in law school, he participated in the Moot Court program and was on the Dean’s List. During his first year he served as a legal intern for the Honorable Judge Marie Lihotz of the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division. He also worked for Van De Poel, Levy & Allen as a law clerk during his second and third years.
Prior to returning to Van De Poel, Levy & Allen, Aaron worked for a civil litigation firm representing medical providers practicing in the Boroughs of Bronx and Brooklyn, New York City. During that time he drafted over forty appeals and argued before the Appellate Term, Second Department on several occasions. Additionally, he made daily court appearances and argued a high volume of summary judgment and discovery motions. He also gained a significant amount of experience drafting a variety of motions, oppositions and replies.
