Stephen Fleischer participates in wide range of civil litigation work, primarily in general liability, personal injury, products liability, transportation law, and professional liability. His clients range from international retailers, large-scale property owners, and trucking companies to sole proprietors and injured pedestrians.
Hailing from Texas, Stephen attended Austin College for his undergraduate studies, performing research in philosophy of mind and cross-cultural ethics and spending his free hours leading several musical ensembles. During law school at Texas Tech, he served with the local homeless coalition, worked for a nonprofit focused on rights for persons with disabilities, and clerked with the Texas Attorney General's Office to represent children in family law proceedings. He also served as an editor on the Texas Tech Administrative Law Journal and received special interest grant funding to spur his community efforts.
Drawn to the vibrant Northern California environment, Stephen joined VLA in 2009. He is a member of the State Bar of California, the Contra Costa County Bar Association and the Alameda County Bar Association. Stephen also volunteers frequently--advising on a pro-bono basis--and loves his local community dearly.
