Associate

Stephen Fleischer participates in all aspects of civil litigation work, primarily in general liability, personal injury, and estate planning.

Hailing from Texas, Stephen attended Austin College for his undergraduate studies, performing research in philosophy of mind and cross-cultural ethics, and spending his free hours leading several musical ensembles. During law school at Texas Tech, he served with the local homeless coalition, worked for a nonprofit focused on rights for persons with disabilities, and clerked with the Texas Attorney General's Office to represent children in family law proceedings. He also served as an editor on the Texas Tech Administrative Law Journal.

Drawn to the vibrant Northern California environment, Stephen joined VLA in 2009. He is a member of the State Bar of California, the American Bar Association, the Contra Costa County Bar Association, and the Alameda County Bar Association.
