Jeff Allen contributes a broad range of legal knowledge and valuable practical
experience both to the firm and to our clients. He is a Martindale-Hubbell AV-rated attorney – a mark of distinction that illustrates

Jeff is experienced in all areas of litigation and trial work,
including Personal Injury, Business, Products Liability, Professional Negligence,
Employment and related Civil Rights Litigation. He also serves as
local counsel for national retail and transportation companies on
a variety of litigation issues, and serves as a private and court-appointed
arbitrator.
Noteworthy among Jeff's cases is his defense
of a concrete manufacturer in a multi-million dollar personal injury
suit (which returned a verdict for the defense), and his representation of a university professor
in a federal employment suit (which earned reinstatement and back
pay). He has also represented many retailers in a variety of suits/claims, including cases involving false imprisonment; sexual harassment and mold/toxic contamination exposure and has represented a number of nationally known rental car companies.
In addition, Jeff has successfully defended cases involving brain injury, reflex
sympathetic dystrophy, and paraplegia, and he has represented
a wide variety of medical practitioners, insurance professionals,
and real estate brokers/agents in professional liability suits.
A highly sought-after public speaker, Jeff frequently lectures
to claims and risk management associations and private
corporations on topics such as litigation strategies and
management, his lectures often qualifying as
Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB).
Jeff Allen is a member of the State Bar of California, the American
Bar Association, the Alameda County Bar Association, the Bar Association
of San Francisco, the Contra Costa County Bar Association, the Association
of Northern California Defense Counsel, and the Defense Research
Institute.
