Miloslav Khadilkar joined the firm in 2008 bringing with him over seventeen years of comprehensive litigation experience representing clients in a variety of complex matters involving major construction defect and delay claims, wrongful death and catastrophic injury claims, products liability, premises liability, toxic torts, professional liability, business and corporate litigation, personal injury matters, real property litigation and the defense of counties, municipalities, school districts and public entities. Milo has tried cases to jury verdict and handled hundreds of arbitrations and mediations. Respected by his peers for his analytical ability, "out of the box" thinking and no-nonsense approach to representing his clients, Milo has been personally requested by various insurance carriers to defend matters in which an insured faced potentially significant exposure.
A triple major receiving a B.S. in Biological Psychology, a B.A. in Cell Physiology and a B.A. in Physical Anthropology from the University of California at Santa Barbara, Milo was also an honors researcher in neuro-pharmacology (testing the motor and psychological effects of prospective anti-psychotic drugs) and marine biology. A Dean's List student, Milo is a life member of Psi Chi, the National Honor Society in Psychology and was a participant in the International Neuroscience Conference in Washington D.C..
A recipient of a Dean's Merit Scholarship, Milo received his Juris Doctor degree from the Pepperdine University School of Law. In addition, Milo is also a licensed California Real Estate Broker.
Milo is admitted to practice before all the courts of the State of California and, the United States District Court (Northern and Central Districts). Milo is a member of the American Bar Association (Construction Industry and Tort and Insurance Practice Sections), the State Bar of California (Real Property Section), the Contra Costa Bar Association and the Eastern European Bar Association.
Mr. Khadilkar is fluent in Czech.
