Beth Morris focuses on assisting clients in complex civil litigation and transactional matters related to business, real estate, construction, environmental matters.

She successfully settled a complex real estate case for a venture capital firm for an amount far less than the plaintiff's demand, thus avoiding a potentially costly and damaging trial.

Beth has assisted developers, design professionals and contractors with claims involving construction defects and contract disputes and regularly advises clients through all phases of alternative dispute resolution such as mediation and arbitration.  She also has trial experience.

As a lobbyist for the Law & Public Policy Group of a Fortune 100 company in Washington, D.C., Beth advocated for several years before the U.S. Congress, State Legislatures and local governments.  She served as an extern for the United States Attorney's Office in the Eastern District of California and was a Legal Clerk with the Governmental Affairs Division of the California Medical Association and several other D.C. based associations.

Beth has also been active in community service for many years, including pro bono work representing clients in domestic violence proceedings.  She has advocated for victims and children's rights as a volunteer for many organizations.  She advised women and children as a counselor at a County sponsored sexual assault and domestic violence center; assisted with organizing community activities in D.C. for the Children's Defense Fund and Congressional Medal program for Youth; and worked as a counselor for the Victims of Crime Resource Center in Sacramento.

A member of the State Bar of California, and the Contra Costa County Bar Association, Beth is licensed to practice law in all courts within the State of California, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, and the Federal Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
