Dan Serot represents clients in areas of complex civil litigation, including
real estate, construction, personal injury and general business litigation. A member of the firm's Business and Commercial Group, his practice includes representing individuals and businesses on issues such as formation, contract negotiation, employment agreements and intellectual property considerations for trademark filings, prosecution and defense.
Dan's litigation experience includes working on high-exposure construction and real estate disputes representing owners, developers, general and sub-contractors regarding all phases of construction. He has been involved in personal injury lawsuits including the successful resolution of a multi-million dollar claim for a catastrophic motorcycle accident.
On the business and commercial matters, Dan has represented small and medium sized business clients through all facets of their business and legal needs and has also worked with a variety of internet start up companies, sporting good manufacturers/distributors, vehicle rental companies and real estate developers.
Dan Serot is a member of the
State Bar of California and Contra
Costa County Bar Association. He also is the firm's liaison to the California Professional Association of Specialty Contractors "CALPASC" organization.
