Courtney B. McFate represents clients in a wide range of litigation matters, focusing her practice on construction defect litigation and employment litigation.

Courtney graduated from UCLA with a bachelor’s degree in Women’s Studies and from CSU Los Angeles with a Master’s degree in Communication Studies. Prior to law school, she worked as a litigation paralegal for several prominent firms. Courtney graduated in the top 13% of her class from Golden Gate University School of Law. While in law school she was a member of GGU’s law review and worked as a judicial extern at the United States District Court, Northern District and a law clerk at the State Bar of California in the Office of General Counsel.

Courtney is licensed to practice in all courts in the state of California and in the United States District Court, Eastern District of California. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Contra Costa County Bar Association, Bar Association of San Francisco, and Queen’s Bench.
