David’s practice focuses on defending construction defect, product liability, personal injury, and professional liability claims. David’s professional liability practice focuses on defending architects, engineers, home inspectors, and real estate brokers. On the construction side, David represents major developers, architects, engineers, general contractors and subcontractors in complex commercial and residential developments, including OCIP and CCIP projects.  David defends and prosecutes contractual indemnity claims and he has defended product manufacturers and materials suppliers against claims of defective and/or contaminated products.

David also has an active transactional and business litigation practice, representing companies in corporate and administrative matters. Clients rely on David not only to litigate claims, but also to consult on risk avoidance and risk management strategies.  He is dedicated to providing his clients with the highest level of legal counseling and representation, utilizing innovative and creative strategies designed to achieve the best possible results.

David is admitted to practice in all California and Texas state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California. In his free time, David provides legal counseling to members of the community as a volunteer for the Benicia Lawyers in the Library Program.  He resides in the Clayton Valley with his wife and two young sons.
