In an employment wage and hour and discrimination action, Plaintiff employee filed a Motion to Compel Production of Documents more than 80 days after substantive written responses were provided by our client, the employer.

VLA&S attorneys vigorously opposed the motion and requested an award of sanctions against Plaintiff and his law firm. The Court denied Plaintiff’s motion as untimely and awarded our client $2,500 in sanctions against Plaintiff and his firm for misuse of the discovery process.
