Heinz was admitted as an attorney and counselor at law by the Supreme Court of the State of California in 2008 and is licensed to practice law in all Courts of the State. He is also admitted to the United States District Court, Central District of California.

Heinz graduated from California State University Hayward magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, California where he graduated in the top third of his class. After practicing law in the Los Angeles metropolitan area, Heinz returned to the Bay Area where he now focuses his practice in the areas of personal injury, premises liability, and complex construction defect disputes.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Heinz worked in various capacities for two technology startups, a broadcast media monitoring company and a legal software provider, where he gained invaluable insight into the business world and hopes one day to start his own company.
